Mastering analog and digital audio processors are of the latest high
end technology. All digital domain is in high resolution 96kHz/24bit.
We bein with the A/D conversion choosing the 96kHz /24bit converter
by Weiss engineering of Switzerland, going to the high resolution
40 bit floating point digital EQ and the frequency compressor - limiter-
deesser of the same maker. With the above equipment in the digital
domain any task can be realized with maximum quality and definition.
It is widely aknowledged that analog processing is unsurpraised in creativity and warm character even for digital material.
In analogue domain there is an entire discrete class A analogue chain that include AVALON DESIGN 2077 mastering EQ , MILLENIA NSEQ-2 twin topology mastering EQ (solid state or tube) as also CRANE SONG STC-1 Compressor-Limiter.
Working in high resolution becomes very important factor of going down to 44.1kHz/16bit. Paying much attention for this factor we are able to choose and use among different algorithms among which are SBM by Sony and Meridian 518 dithering processor.
Cabling also is a very important factor for the quality of the sound .In AM we used the Best of Cables for analog and digital signals like Belden,Monster Cable as also Transparent in critical parts.
We faced also the threat of jitter with antijitter devices by Weiss.
Restoration and Remastering is a very important and critical section. 78 rpm old records to LPs and tapes or cassettes are processed in an ideal way by NoNoise system of Sonic Solutions. Results are impressive in restoring the material without or with a minimal change in the original character of the recordings.
